After managing Twitter accounts for a variety of large corporations, we realized that everyone really wants to do the same thing:  grow a Twitter following.  If you want to build your Twitter following, you have three options to do it effectively and legitimately.

  1. Find and share interesting content or observations that are discovered or retweeted by other Twitter users,
  2. Follow people with unique characteristics in the hopes that they'll follow you back,
  3. Find people who comment on certain things, then build a relationship with them
